At The Hammock, we are big on sustainability and truly believe that each drop makes an ocean. Everything we do, is done keeping in mind the impact on our surroundings. Which means, we say a resounding “No” to single-use plastic and that includes plastic water bottles, straws, disposables. Our kitchen waste is composted, grey water recycled to nourish the future O2 suppliers planted by a little brook running through our backyard. And oh, we also welcome suggestions on becoming more environment-friendly.
Our ethos also dictate treating everyone equally and we appreciate guests who are interested in getting to know the people who are part of their Hammock experience. Calling them by their first names for example, is a sure-shot way of winning our hearts and paving way for life-long friendships. Who knows? It might just fetch you an impromptu song or dance performance by one of them, for free. It always pays to be nice.
