Zostel Chitkul is located 100 m from the Chitkul bus stop, easily accessible on foot.By Bus:Take a bus from Shimla to Sangla (215 km; 7 hrs).From Sangla Bus Stand: 25 km, 1.5 hours, ~INR 1200-1500 for a taxi to Chitkul.-Car Route: Shimla - Sangla - Chitkul; Sangla to Chitkul is 25 km (1.5 hrs).-From Shimla Airport: 260 km, 9 hrs, ~INR 10,000 for a cab directly to Chitkul.-Note: If you need more details, please contact the property. Important note for extremely cold months of operation (roughly November-March) - Running water will not be available because of the frigid weather. However, in each room, a 200 liters drum filled with water will be available. - An immersion rod for water heating will be available in each room. Due to the extreme cold in the region, this property provides complimentary heaters in all rooms and dorms. - Linens will be replaced by blankets to keep you warm in all rooms and dorms. Alcohol consumption is permitted at the premises as per property’s discretion and local laws.
