About Hotel

Headline

Built in 1826 by Maharaja Balwant Singh, the Mahal Khas Palace is a stunning example of Mughal and Rajput architectural styles. Unlike the rugged, "Spartan" exterior of the Lohagarh Fort that surrounds it, the palace is known for its intricate sandstone carvings, beautiful wall paintings, and ornate marble-tiled floors. Formerly known as the Janana Mahal (or Dadi Ji ka Mahal), it has been converted into a heritage hotel that allows guests to experience royal Rajasthani living with high-ceilinged rooms and traditional courtyards.
