Our Mountain view suite offers stunning views of the snow-clad Himalayas and the breathtaking Mussoorie winter-line, right from the comfort of your bedroom. The suite features a modern kitchen with a stylish breakfast bar that flows seamlessly into the living area, which overlooks the outdoor garden, beautifully shaded by a majestic 200-year-old oak tree. Guest access At Checkmate, guests enjoy full access to their private suite, which includes: Two Bedrooms – Spacious, elegantly designed, and offering breathtaking mountain or garden views. Living Room – A cozy and stylish space to relax, featuring large windows that bring in natural light and stunning vistas. Fully Equipped Kitchen – Complete with modern appliances and a stylish bar counter for an effortless dining experience. Private Balcony – Perfect for enjoying your morning coffee while taking in the serene surroundings. In addition to your suite, you’ll have access to our SHARED SPACES, designed to enhance your stay: Lush Outdoor Garden – A tranquil retreat under the shade of a majestic 200-year-old oak tree, ideal for relaxing or reading. Scenic Sit-Out Areas – Enjoy the Himalayan views and Mussoorie’s Winterline from thoughtfully placed seating spots. Barbecue and Bonfire available on demand in the shared spaces. Other things to note The Mussoorie Diary Cafe: Our in-house cafe offers Authentic flavours of Garwhal, along with Indian and Chinese cuisine. Guests can place orders for in-room dining or dine in our outdoor cafe which is active from 11am to 10:30pm. Local Attractions: The property is a 10-15 min drive away from the Mall Road. Dalai Hills and the Shedup Choepelling Temple or the Tibetan Buddhist Temple are walking distance from Checkmate. Tours and Hikes: Private walking tours can be arranged to the neighbouring Pine Forests, secret waterfalls, George Everest Peak and Dalai Hills. Premium Taxi services also available for all tourist points in and around Dehradun, Mussoorie, Rishikesh and Haridwar.
